Tax Credits

Tax Credits can often bring you more benefits than deductions.

Income Credit: If you work, you may qualify for a credit of $5000.  Try the EITC Calculator to see if you qualify.

Education Credit: : If you are taking courses to increase your employable skills, or your children are going to college, you may be able to benefit from credits up to $5,000.

Child Credits: If you have children and pay someone to look after them while you work, you may qualify for a $4,000.

Energy Efficiency Credit: If you have made energy efficient improvements to your home you may benefit from a $500 credit.

Plug-in Vehicle Conversion Credit: If you have converted your vehicle from gas-powered into a plug-in electric vehicle, you may qualify for a credit of $4,000.
